The Elementalist class is an entirely new class based on the Elementalist from the popular MMO Guild Wars 2 and its expansions. It uses similar mechanics to that of the Mystic Class. Elementalists. The Necromancer is one of the strongest professions in Guild Wars 2 for players that like to play on their own. Once you adjust to the unique playstyle, you’ll have little issue dominating as a solo player. The class is incredibly easy to use, has tons of great tools at its disposal, and is hard to put down.
No better way to get a feel. Larger characters will always feel slower and more clunky when every character has the same movement speed. What takes your asura 3 steps to do your norn can cover in 1 step so they have to slow down the animation to compensate. Both the humans and sylvari are similar size and body shape.
Both Humans and Charr are also known hunters, dating back. They also suit the class well. Asura is the opposite end of the spectrum for me, they have little to no correlation with the Ranger class. Thief. Best suited: Human Honorable mention: Charr Least likely: Norn I think the Human suits the Thief class perfectly.
If you're interested in a light norn class and not specifically mesmer, I actually think norn elementalist fits the lore all right. Being a nuke-y dps class still fits the directness of the race, and lightning hammer probably fits norn best. Most of the racial attunement dialog is usually very simple "Fire!" and "Air!"

For melee classes like Guardian, Revenant, Warrior, and Thief I prefer Asura b/c their movement and animations feel so quick compared to other races. For caster or ranged like Ele, Mesmer, Ranger, Engineer, medium-sized races like Sylvari and Human work well.
